League Rules
PROCEDURE
Scorecards must include first and last names (no nicknames) and
must be double-checked for accuracy before submission.
You MUST check-in at the Proshop, even if you are a Member. There are no
envelopes. All you have to do is give the Proshop Attendant your name and team.
If you are not a Member, this is when you will pay your greens fees.
Match Play System
Each individual match is worth 9 points.
The team with the lowest net score receives a 4-point bonus. (Womens is 2 points)
Total points available per match: 40 points. (Womens is 20 points)
Maximum handicap strokes allowed in Match Play: 1 per hole (full in Net count)
Scoring Rules
All players must finish each hole for team totals and handicap
calculations.
Maximum strokes per hole: 10 (pick up if reaching 10).
If a player picks up at 10 and their opponent scores an actual 10, the
actual 10 wins the hole.
All teams must have 4 players, or they automatically forfeit the
team total net score for 4 points.
If a player’s opponent does not show up after Hole 2, the attending player receives 9 points, while the absent player gets 0 points.
Tied holes will
split (1/2 point for each player)
RAINOUTS
Call the course or check the blog for rainouts (we cannot call everyone).
Management will decide right before league play if a rain-out is
necessary.
Complete league rainouts will be rescheduled at the end of the season.
If a team finishes their round before a rain-out is called, their
score counts.
Any unfinished rounds will be replayed from the start.
COURSE RULES
Out of Bounds &
Water Hazards
Hole #1 – Out of bounds left of stakes (range) or right in the field → 2-stroke
penalty (stroke & distance).
Hole #4 –
Tee shot in water → Drop at point of entry, 1-stroke penalty (hitting
3rd shot).
Second shot in water → Drop in designated area, hitting 5th shot.
A ball over the green into water → Drop at point of entry (2 club
lengths, no closer), 1-stroke penalty.
Hole #6 –
Ball right of red stakes and not found → Drop at entry, 1-stroke
penalty.
Ball right of red stakes and found → Play it or drop at entry, 1-stroke
penalty.
Hole #7 – The same rules as Hole #3 apply.
Hole #8 & Hole #9 –
Out of bounds → 2-stroke penalty (stroke & distance), re-tee
(hitting 3rd shot).
If a ball lands on or behind prairie grasses in the waste bunker,
move it one club length (no penalty) to prevent damage.
General Rules
Lost Ball – Drop another ball at the point of entry, 1-stroke penalty.
Ball in Water – Advance to the point of entry, 1-stroke penalty.
Out of Bounds on Tee Shots – Re-tee (hitting 3rd shot). If dropping at the point of entry, hitting
4th shot.
COURSE MANAGEMENT
Replace divots, repair ball marks, and rake bunkers.
Do not spray mosquito repellent near greens (causes damage).
Pace of Play – All rounds should be completed in 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Hole #9 Courtesy – Wave up players before putting out.
